At Christmas, food is a fundamental part of the celebrations. Therefore, we bring you some star recipes for you to prepare on these dates and surprise your loved ones with delicious dishes.

Breaded cauliflower

Ingredients to make battered cauliflower

  • 1 cauliflower
  • A splash of vinegar to cook the cauliflower
  • Enough flour for coating
  • Enough eggs to coat
  • Enough oil to fry the cauliflower
  • Enough water to cook the cauliflower


Wash the cauliflower well and cut it into twigs, cook in a saucepan with a base of water and salt for ten minutes. Drain and reserve.


Heat a large frying pan with plenty of oil. Beat the eggs and prepare a plate with flour. Coat the cauliflower by passing it first in flour and then in egg.


When the oil is hot, add the cauliflower and fry until golden. Drain on kitchen paper. Serve the cauliflower with a few slices of toasted bread.

Christmas tree with broccoli

Ingredients to make tree with broccoli

  • 1 Broccoli
  • Vinegar
  • Salt
  • 1 egg
  • 1 Lemon
  • 1 Dl Olive oil
  • 1/2 pomegranate or red pepper
  • 1 Tablespoon Sweet corn kernels


Cut the broccoli into florets. Immerse the bouquets in a large bowl with water and a few drops of vinegar to wash it. Remove and drain the broccoli. Put a pot on the fire with the broccoli covered in water and a little salt. Keep on heat until the broccoli is tender (about 20 minutes). Remove from heat and let drain.


Put 1 egg, a few drops of lemon, 1 dl of olive oil and a little salt in the blender glass. Place the mixer at the bottom of the glass and begin to beat, slowly increasing until it forms a mayonnaise. Spread the mayonnaise on a plate and place the broccoli in the center forming a Christmas tree. Garnish with pomegranate or red pepper and sweet corn.
